Today I actually read that XAMPP for MacOS X will be available on the next iX Magazine CD. I think we can be proud of ourselves to have finally made it. XAMPP for MacOS X is not very easy to create. Christian Speich is doing most of the work at the moment and he is doing it very well.

I thought it ought to be at the time I updated this section again :)
I’ve been very busy the past couple of months. Developing new Virtuozzo templates as also teaching our new apprentice. This is a new situation for me too, however I guess I’m doing fine so far. My second son should be born quite soon. We are waiting for him to come anytime now. I’ll be taking some time off as soon as he is here. We are not quite sure of the name yet, but we’ll see :)

XAMPP for MacOS X was released some time ago now, and we seem to have alot of downloads. There are quite some bugs in the current version which we have already fixed for the next release. The year is nearing it’s end though, and christmas is just around the corner. I would like to use this opportunity to thank everybody for supporting me and my family in the year 2006. I wish you all a Merry christmas and a wonderfull and happy year 2007. May all your wishes come true.

Florian Pollini and me finally found enough time to start creating a new XAMPP for MacOS X version today. Currently we are still fighting with some minor problems, though we expect to be releasing a new version by next weekend. The coming version will be Intel Macs only. We will have to see if it’s possible to create a PPC oder even Universal Binary version in future.

Probably this week Kai ‘Oswald’ Seidler and me (and of course the XAMPP Team) will be introducing our new bug report Plattform based on Mantis Bugtracker. We hope to support the users more efficent and locate and documentate bugs faster and keep track of them more easier. So let’s start squashing bugs.
